I’m looking forward to seeing what makes Nodame “tick.” She has been portrayed as some type of simple creature. We don’t know why she loves music or anything about her past. It’s clear she as raw talent but so does Chiaki. Although, Chiaki has intellectual skill to back his talent up. That could figure into a storyline that drives the two apart; sort of like what happened earlier on in the series. That’s basically were I want the story to go; hence, my follow-up comment.

I pretty much agree with you. I think Nodame is one of the better shows of it's season but the only character development/motivation we've seen (at least for me) is from Mine. Now that we're in the middle of the series, I'm hoping that we see some movement from Nodame and Chiaki
