Asatte no Houkou – Ahhh I missed it
I don’t believe in being fashionably late, Being fashionably late is for fashionable people. As for me, I have the annoying habit of totally missing the party. That appears to be what happened with Asatte no Houkou. The show seems to have finished it’s run a few days ago and the subs are complete as well.

It was on my short lists of series to catch if I didn’t have anything else to do. So, being Christmas eve and about four hours until midnight here in Texas. Obviously, I have nothing to do except get ready to go to work. Yeah, that’s me, working on X-mas eve. The family is up north. BTW, “up north” in Texas means North Texas not the northern states, because Texas is huge.
Back to Asatte no Houkou.
I picked what seemed to be a popular show based on the number of reviews. That’s always a good indicator of popularity, eh. Although, I didn’t really read through too much of those reviews or summaries. The screen caps seemed to be laden with cuteness + emo-drama, and if you read my blog [all three of you] then you know how I feel about cuteness. Yeah, I like emo-drama too.
For the most part, I didn’t see to many interesting aspects in this show. The initial character introductions showed promise in future character development. The art was a nice change of pace. All-in-all, I wasn’t too impressed with the show.
That is until the very end of the first episode when the two main characters Shoko and Karada switch places. This peeked my interests.
Now, I don’t know what exactly will happen with the plot, but I’m hoping for a something like Mahou Shoujo Pretty Shoko. I doubt that will happen, but the outlook seems good for the show nonetheless.
Edit #2: Okay, I said switched “places,” but it looks more like it’s “ages.”. . .now you may continue with your Christmas.
