DNA^2 : The world needs more Karin Aoi -or- my continuing quest to blog things no one cares about
This is my first actual post on the new Beta Blogger platform. I’d like to apologize to master Hung T. for questioning his ‘leet aggregator coding skillz. I asked him if there would be any issues with the nano and the new beta Blogger. His response was as such…

You gotta’ love the guy, really. By the by, this is for those of you that are not familiar with the nano (all two of you), Hung’s having a karaoke contest at his blog.

So, I just finished watching DNA^2 (DNA squared….I guess) for the third or fourth time. It’s an entertaining 15 episode series. That’s actually twelve TV episodes and a three episode OAV.
For all intents and purposes I should hate this anime, but I can’t even begin to list the bad aspects of it because they all have become sort of endearing. In particular the story, which is silly as all hell, I find rather humorous and entertaining.
Junta is allergic to girls. He throws-up (barfs) when he gets near them. Unbeknownst to him, he will eventually become the “Mega-playboy” who will father 100 children with 100 women, of them–all men–will father 100 children, and so on and so forth until the world is overpopulated with mega-playboys.
Karin (see new blog header) is sent back in time to alter Junta’s DNA and prevent him from becoming the Mega-playboy. But, oops, she accidentally turns him into the mega-playboy. I honestly didn’t see that coming…honest.
Hilarity ensues.
DNA*DNA is actually a really good series if you can get past the awkwardness of the first few episodes. It’s not the first odd plot in an anime series—to be sure—, but there are some things that the layperson will find exceptionally disturbing. I’m not one to care too much about “spoilers,” but I really wouldn’t want to ruin the little surprises in the show for anyone that actually wants to pick this one up.

Your post is relevant to my interests. So yes…I care! I’m gonna have to go break this series out again.
It seems that there are a lot of relatively new anime fans out there and most are heavy on fansubs. So, I thought that I would direct some of them to an older series like DNA2, since the boxset is so cheap now.
i love this series along with video girl ai. Ecchi but hilarious ^_^
