The major problem I’ve been having with it is that it doesn’t index my recent posts. Plus, even the stuff it did index was not showing up in the predefined searches. That sounds a lot like a caching issue. I understand that the blogger search doesn’t get as much traffic as the Google portal, but the blogger stuff is still only getting started. Soon blogs will be the crappy “two page” personal homepage that people get for free when signing up for an ISP. Then everyone will have a voice on the Internet that they don’t use.

My biggest problem with the Blogger Beta Search is that these issues are not something that fly under the radar. I noticed them from simple casual use of the search, so I’m not sure why they were not fixed, because those issues have been there for more than a month. Probably, from the very beginning.

knowing my luck, they will probably fix this issue tomorrow or next week, then I’ll look like a jack-ass.

Well next we’re going to try to good ‘ol Google site search. This will have to do until Blogspot gets category capabilities and I can organize this heap. Sadly, Google is slower to index my blog that Blogger Search, but it does actually return some meaning full search results. Let’s hope it helps some of you guys out.
