Op Ed – Hung’s Plans for World Conquest

His name is Hung Truong. He’s the minor internet celebrity, among anime bloggers, who created animenano. Don’t let the little hat or lack of a nose fool you, he is actually an evil genius bent on world conquest. What I will attempt to show in this article is the subtle way he is slowly gaining power in the ABC (anime blogger community) and making gains in his main goal, which is total control of all media and world powers. Hung intends to make himself the puppet master of the world’s most powerful government. His first step in achieving that goal is being done in a most insidious way, through the use of anime.
I managed to infiltrate the “nano” community and watched the man in action. Sure, on the surface the community displays a democratic atmosphere with suggestion forums and direct contact with the creator of the site, but in actuality the standard rule of thumb is “Hung’s word is law.” No one dares defy the great and powerful Hung. In one on one conversations with other nano community members it became quite clear that there was a respect but an even greater fear of “the Hung” as they called him. This is all in great contrast to his perceived image as the “Nicest guy in anime blogging.”
Here is a excerpt from an interview I had with
DrmChsr0, of orz fame, shortly after an “accident.”
Akira: “So, I was told that you had a little incident the other day.”
Drm: “…y y yeah, I fell off my bed.”
Akira: “That’s not what I heard.”
Drm: “What did you hear?”
Akira: “I heard that you said something that you shouldn’t have said…”
Drm: “I don’t know what your talking about, I think it’s time for you to go.”
Akira: “Come on D, you and I both know what happened.”
Drm: “Damn it, you bastard!!! I don’t need this shit. Go away or he’ll think I’m talking…and he might do worse.”
[...after some time...]
Drm: “WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME!!!!!”
Akira: “I WHAT THE TRUTH!”
Drm: “YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH….MAAANNNNN!….It’s hung’s world we’re just living in it, damnit [sobbs]…”
Akira: “So hung did this to you?”
Drm: “[sobbs]..after I said I didn’t like his hat, he had jpmeyer and Ashley come after me. They broke my legs!….They broke my fucking legs!!!!…..jp held me down while Ashley beat me with her Ego-Cock™. That thing weighs like 10 kilos damnit!”
Shortly after my interview with Drm I got word that there was another “incident.” He was found shot in the center of the forehead while writing what appeared to be a ten page DRM rant on girls with Ego-Cock™. Doctors say that the injury was minor and he is now recovering nicely at the St Rosette Christopher’s Hospital of Immaculate Healing.
This doesn’t appear to be unusual. As a matter of course, those kind of actions appear to be normal. Strong arm measures in the back allies of the ABC are not how Hung intends to control the world. You need to control information in order to control people and that is the main aim of the Hung revolution. That’s were animenano comes in. He intends to use animenano to control the flow of information to the ABC community. Since the ABC spans all groups at every age it is the perfect place to implement control measures and affect change, Hung’s preferred change. Recently, Hung decided to implement an “off-topic” post mechanism to filter out questionable content from animenano, and the American stock exchanges reacted very badly, of course it was a delayed reaction. Where the American stock exchanges fall so go the reset of the worlds. Surely this was not intended (or was it?), however this shows the power of animenano.
I’m sure that questionable content would be post that don’t progress the Hung vision.

The mind control has already begun. Soon Hung will be able to control all who pass by animenano with controlled content from hundreds of anime blogs, all loyal subjects of the Hung Revolution.
We have discovered how he intends to implement his world “change,” but how will the Hung finance his ambition? It appears that the entire thing is funded exclusively on Google adsense. However there are secondary finances coming from T-Shirts and “cuts” from sales at online stores. How powerful do you have to be to demand a cut of online store revenue? Stinks a little bit of Tony Saprano to me. A cursory glance at any of Hung’s websites shows that nearly 99% of every webpage is Google ads. There is a rumor that Hung has an army of fat yaoi fangirls who’s job it is to click on those ads twenty four hours a day seven days a week. Actually, that is a rumored division of the Hung army, which consist of foot soldiers, air force, navy, and a special ops team of killer lolis.
Can he be stopped? Will Hung control the future of us all? Those are questions for the future. Hopefully, this article will bring these actions that happen in the shadows of the anime community to the light. Maybe, just maybe we can be saved.
